Waiting List And Sale Policy

Due to the number of inquiries I have received on our herd, I decided to make a waiting list for potential buyers. Send me an email if you would like to be notified when our does kid and/or the availability of goats for sale whether it be new kids or mature animals.  Breeders can send me their interests by email   ( and should state the following:

  1. Contact Information, name, email address, phone number, etc.  

  2. Your interest in one of the following categories

    • Sex

    • Color

    • Sire and/or Dam

    • Number of potential animals desired

    • A note about the purpose of goat you are interested in purchasing, breeding, showing, commercial  herd, etc.

Sale Policy

Breeding (intact) goats are priced between $500 and $5,000 depending on, pedigree,  age, accomplishments, color and sex.

All purchased goats are healthy and disease free when they leave Sunny Springs Farm. All goats/ kids will be up to date on vaccinations for CDT, CL, Pneumonia and dewormings. We will not knowingly sell any goat showing outward signs of infection, hoof rot, or any other visible illness. A complete veterinarian health inspection will be provided if requested by, and paid by the buyer. Health certificates are required for all goats shipped across state lines, the current fee is $50.00.


Breeding Stock

Bred does will be confirmed pregnant prior to being sold, however, pregnancy determination cannot be made prior to 30 days into the gestation period.  If  you acquire an exposed doe it is understood the doe may not be pregnant and it is reflected in her price..  If the buyer wishes to have an exposed doe confirmed bred prior to purchase the vet fee is $40/doe.  Ultrasound cannot be performed prior to 45 days gestation.  If she is confirmed bred via ultrasound, she will be sold as a "bred" doe and it will be reflected in her price.



  •  A 100 dollar deposit is required to hold a kid until weaning and it will be applied to a kid's purchase price. Kids need to be picked up by 12 weeks of age. If a kid is not picked up within 12 weeks of age, the kid will remain the property of Sunny Springs Farm and the deposit will not be refunded. A full refund will be given if the reserved kid becomes ineligible for sale, i.e., sick or dies.

  • A 100 dollar deposit is required on an adult goat  and we will hold the goat for 14 days unless other arrangements have been made. The deposit will be applied to the goat's purchase price. If the goat is not picked up within 14 days and there is no communication from the buyer, the goat will remain property of Sunny Springs Farm and the deposit will be forfeited.

  • We allow 3-5 business days for the deposit to arrive. If we do not receive the deposit it that time, the goat will be put back up for sale.

  • Deposits may be received as a check or money order.  Payment in full is expected before any animal leaves Sunny Springs Farm. 

  • We reserve the right to cancel, should we choose to cancel a contract, the full amount of any monies paid will be refunded.

  • ALL SALES ARE FINAL. There will be no refund of deposit or purchase price after the goat has been removed from Sunny Springs Farm, since we are no longer responsible for the goat's care, custody or control. The buyer enters into this agreement knowing and accepting the no-refund policy after the goat has been removed from the farm.  

  • The seller makes no other warranties, expressed or implied to the soundness or health of  the goat or future health or soundness of the goat. The buyer purchases the said goat "As Is"  and at time of sale the goat is considered in good health and free of any visible signs of illness.  The Buyer has the option to have a licensed veterinary examine said goat at buyer's expense, before completing the purchase transaction.   Veterinarians require payment in full prior to conducting a pre-purchase exam.


  • All shipping costs (transportation, health certificates, testing, etc.) are the buyers responsibility. Depending on the situation, we may be able to meet the buyer for partial delivery for an additional expense. The current rate is $1.00 per mile, distance is limited to 150 miles one way and will only be available on weekends.  

  • Buyer is responsible for all expenses associated with the shipping and transportation of said goat. If goat is to be shipped out of the country, buyer is responsible for all expenses associated with state and federal quarantine laws and/or use of an outside agricultural agent.  


Registration and Paperwork

  • All of our Boer goats are are registered through ABGA. All kids will be registered with ABGA.


  • We maintain a closed herd and do not offer a buck service at this time.
